About the Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail

Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail October 3 and 4, 2026

The beautiful Bouddi Peninsula is home to some amazingly talented artists. The inspiration provided by the national park, bays and surf beaches, means many of our works reflect our stunning environment.

The Arts Trail began in the 1980's when local artists decided to open their studios to the public over the October long weekend. It began with handwritten maps and visitors hiking, bicycling or driving around looking for the red flags marking the open studios. While the event waxed and waned over the years it has seen a strong resurgence since 2020, with increasing participation and visitor numbers.

Starting from the simple idea of creating a community event where people could meet the artists, this informal personal approach remains the defining feature of the Arts Trail today. It is a fabulous way to discover the artistic richness in our community.

This October long weekend, we have 24 artists exhibiting across 19 open studios. Art studios are open from 9 am on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October. Each studio will be marked with a red flag. Check out the trail map using the link below or the navigation menu.

Entry is free.

We look forward to meeting you and chatting about our work. Artwork is available to purchase.
